Welcome to Assurance for the Afflicted

Pastor Amber Bergeron is a wife, mother, and crazy cat lady who loves coffee and Jesus.  Amber lives with fibromyalgia and a rare condition called SAPHO as well as a broken spine that refuses to heal.  Her passion for the gospel is fiercer than her pain and this ministry is about finding strength through God's word.

I'll be blogging regularly about how God's Word gives me strength and hope in affliction.  I've had and continue to have struggles, but God is faithful and always provides. My prayer is that you will be inspired in whatever afflictions you face in your life.  

I'll be responding in the comment sections as well as offering prayer for you.

I'll also have a weekly sermon video.  Preacher's gotta preach, yo! ;-) 

Plus, I know that some of you are like me and there just aren't enough "spoons" some days to make it to worship when you're battling chronic illness.

I may also begin to post other videos of insights or funny things that bring me joy.
